Family...

our sons and family...

Not much brings me more pleasure and a sense of accomplishment than to witness our sons becoming young men, both of which are truly wonderful. They have grown to embody both their mothers and fathers values, which includes a total and unwavering respect for everyone. Kevin, our eldest is now engaged to Stephanie and are to be married in the spring of 2010, whereas Hans is still looking for that special someone but is pictured with a "date".

Although both boys experienced the breakup of their parents marriage, as they were but 10 and 8 at the time, they have evolved in the love of both parents as well as their extended families. Being a product of a gay household, I believe, has made them more well grounded and accepting of all peoples. That said, we truly have no understanding where folks feel that being brought up in a gay environment will affect children negatively. NO.... a negative environment is one in which bigotry and hatred is taught, tolerance is the key!

Our recent family get-together on the Mendocino Coast, Manchester. We rented a home for a few days and had a wonderfully relaxing time. Beautiful scenery with fantasic company. We were all pleased that Debbie, the boys mother was able to join us.
